This yard started out a flat space with some vegetation. First, we started off by marking with metal stakes, string and orange paint where (according to the plans) the pool would be dug. The homeowners were consulted to make sure that this is where they wanted it... and then the show starts!!
This is when the excavating begins. This can be a very noisy process. (Not to mention dusty!!) The excavation went well, we did hit some tough rock, but it went according to schedule. Forms were placed around the pool area, then we filled it with gravel. Steel rods were bent and placed to shape the pool. The plumbing is also set for the in-floor system and drains. We are now ready for GUNITE!!
